Tailsitters

I lead research relating to the development of autonomous tailsitter aircraft, similar to the University of Toronto's work with a dual-motor tailsitter. My research attempts to use similar hardware components, but achieve a more efficient vehicle by using only one motor.

I started this research in the Humanity Centered Robotics Lab at Brown University with Professor Stephanie Tellex. Since then I have submitted a provisional patent for my technology, and built several iterations of working prototypes.

Micro-Gravity Aquaponics

As part of the NASA Deep Space Food Challenge, I lead a team developing a system for growing plants on the International Space Station. In the coming months, we will submit a proposal with our designs and technologies, and begin the prototyping and testing process.
